Visit this restaurant to taste nicely cooked fish, fish & chips and kebabs. The terrific staff welcomes people all year round. Professional service is a strong point that plays a great role for the success of Crosshouse Chippy. Prices are found adequate here. But most visitors who use Google didn't grant this place a high rating.

Tried this chippy tonight it’s the best I’ve ever had , absolutely excellent we got a large special fish supper, amazing, I’ll definitely be going here anytime we get one, highly recommended to try you won’t regret it, thank you Price per person: £1–10

This is for the new Crosshouse Chippy. Ordered fish supper and haggis supper. Fish supper was good, haggis supper not so. Chips good in both. Would go back but would never have the haggis again, not nice. Update 5/4/26 Tried smoked sausage and it had the same bad smell as the haggis, so it must be the batter / cooking oil. Also noticed that the batter was a lot darker in colour, where normally in most other chip shops it's a light colour. Chips this time were rotten. Won't go back now and will return to our regular(much better) chippy.

Under new management, so decided to give it a try. Best fish supper we've had in a while! Fish was fried in front of me and the staff were pleasant and chatty. Recommended to my parents after our experience and they visited a few days later. Being hard to please, I was not confident of their feedback but delighted to say, they loved it too! Only one visit, so far, but will definitely try again and hope they keep up their great standards. Price per person: £1–10
