Come here for some rest after a long walk around Wild Dala Horse Herd. Come here for tasty meatballs, chicken steaks and pies if you are hungry. The unique characteristic of this bar is serving good pudding. Here you can drink good coffee.

Been digging on this place since it was Swedish crown for better part of 10years. Went last night food was mid. Having been in Stockholm just a couple months prior to my visit to Lindsborg, I feel confident in saying that the Crown and Rye holds its own with the Swedish recipes on its menu. The potato sausage, traditional meatballs, and dill potatoes were delicious - well accompanied by some refreshing lingonberry cocktails. While the food alone is worth the trip, the ambiance and service made it all the better. Our server had all the warmth and welcoming spirit that we became accustomed to during our visit to Lindsborg. Can’t wait to return ! We try to travel to Lindsborg to eat at the Crown & Rye when time allows. We always have great food off the menu or the special! Knowing we liked their food we just hired them to cater our sons wedding and rehearsal dinner. The rehearsal dinner was at the restaurant with a Mexican buffet and brownies and blondies for dessert. Our Mexican food guru’s were very impressed with the food and oh the dessert was wonderful! For the wedding not only did the cater in but Brandi stayed awhile and switched out food for us! Every guest commented on the food and how it was great! So no matter where you eat their food you will be impressed!
