Crown Fried Chicken in Peekskill came through for me when I needed a quick lunch at 3 pm today. The fried wings were exactly as I liked them — crispy without too much batter and served without being drenched in sauce. For a side, I got a coleslaw that was fresh and crunchy. The chicken is heaps better than what’s served in better-known establishments. Service was fast, efficient, and courteous. It’s great that the store, which does mostly takeout business, has a few very clean tables and chairs for eat-in folks. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
