Meh - a lot of money for below average food. The ambiance is nice, but it's quite loud in the dining room. Hard to hear the people across the table. We had a reservation and still waited about 20 minutes to be seated (which was OK). Hostess at the front was very sweet. Got to the table and fork was dirty - had to ask twice for a new one and they never took the old one away. All of us got the halibut special, except my husband got the pear salad with chicken. Sauce on the halibut had too much Dijon, veggies had absolutely no seasoning. Bread and potatoes were good. The salad was a ton of lettuce with a few tasteless pear wedges and minimal cheese. Wine special was good. Overall really disappointing for over $200. I recommend spending your money elsewhere.

Down at the Crow's Nest Restaurant in Santa Cruz with my old pal Gilgamore Stumphealer the freelance journalist for the Happensack Hero out in Racksburg, and as he puts it..the only publication with big enough huevos to publish the actual news without lies and cover ups. He said he has an upcoming series on the Tic Tic UFOs and the alien pilots that were downed in Wyoming this past June. The article is going to rock the world, because he's got pictures and videos that are indisputable! Can't wait. He tells me the Crow's Nest is about the best restaurant in Santa Cruz, and I believe him, cause he's a seeker of truth, so here I am. The food was Amazing! 5 stars
