1st time customer. Don't recommend, I WON'T be going back. Spent $19 for a single patty cheeseburger, fries, and a canned Sprite. Fries were cold (I get hotter fries @ McDonald's). The hamburger patty was thin and red in the middle. (also not hot) Was given a beeper to let me know food was ready. Beeper never went off and my food was sitting on counter while everyone was chatting. So there was a wait time, that's ok...As long as it's good...WRONG !!! IT WAS COLD NOT FRESHLY PREPARED !!! It was around 2:15 on a Friday. Felt like food had been sitting under a heat lamp, let's get rid of them before we close Yes I complained, cashier whom took my order smiled shaking her head up and down. Never said a word. She didn't care. Yes I'm upset, told another lady all she could offer was fresh fries as I was leaving. Should've been fresh the first time. The fries I DIDN'T eat and the cheeseburger I ate about 3/4 because I was hungary. Came home and made a peanut butter sandwich. And no I wasn't looking for something free, I didn't ask for a refund or did they offer any. Just fresh fries. If you want to buy a drink and sit around on your laptop. This place is ideal...I don't recommend the food for the price...

Friday at noon - this place was packed! Lots of grab and go options, novelty treats/ grocery items, nice wine/beer section, as well as a kitchen in the back (not always open - be sure to double check before you go). Great menu options, both unique and traditional items, and always really tasty. Haven’t been mad at anything I’ve tried yet!

When South Roanoke’s Tinnell’s Finer Foods store closed for good in 2019 after more than 80 years of service, many wondered if another little grocery store could possibly replace it. Since opening in 2020, Crystal Spring Grocery Co. (CSGC) has proven to be a great little neighborhood grocery/restaurant/wine store. Whether you decide to eat inside, out front, or take it “to go,” you’re always going to get a delicious, often unique, and huge portioned lunch. Ordering online is a snap and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. I’ve always loved the idea of having a local “pub” in my neighborhood I could walk to, and while not really a pub, it has that local chummy feel about it. It’s a great place for lunch or just meeting someone to visit.
