It's a pleasant experience to order nicely cooked sushi and good salads. The recipe for success of Cub - Champlin is its tasty biscuits and perfectly cooked doughnuts. The convenient location of this place makes it easy to reach even in rush hours. The staff is said to be well-trained here. A number of reviewers mention that the service is nice. Also, visitors recommend this spot because of adequate prices. But google users rated Cub - Champlin and it didn't gain a high rating.

Completely incapable of keeping baskets available for customers. Unhelpful employees when I ask for a basket. Management blames basket problem on not having enough and states they have more on order - same response for several months. And that ignores that they have a pile at checkout that no one bothers to bring to the entrance for customers to use - not even when I specifically bring it up.

Sad how this store has declined. I live nearby and this was always my go-to store, but it has been going downhill for years. The produce is iffy, the store isn’t particularly clean, and customer service is awful. I returned something at the customer service desk the other day, and the employee stared at me blankly as I explained (and showed her) how the product had melted together inside the bag. She just took it and threw it in the trash. After receiving my refund, I added that there were 2 remaining bags of the item on the shelf that was likely also melted and gelled together- again a blank stare. I repeated myself. Blank stare. (This was not a language barrier situation) The message was clear: they didn’t care of someone else wasted $5, the ruined items were to remain on the shelf for the next unsuspecting customer. A few weeks ago I asked someone at the meat counter to cut some chicken breast for me, he replied “I don’t cut meat”. Why is he working behind the meat counter if he doesn’t know how to cut meat? I now drive way out of my way to shop at HyVee.

I do not understand the prices here. I've added a picture as an example. $4.39 for a single can of soup? I would never expect a grocery store to be equal in price to a discount store such as Target down the road. But I would expect that the higher cost would be within reason. Target sells the same can currently for $2.49, so $2.37 using their store card. Cub is selling the same can of soup for a 85% higher cost than Target. Under no condition should a store be selling an identical product to a store 1.1 miles away at an 85% higher price. This is predatory.
