I ordered Door Dash from this place and it was disgusting. Literally not edible. The empanadas were so burnt and saturated with oil they tastes chemically. As well I ordered 2 separate orders of ropa vieja with rice and they put everything together. The ropa was full of fat and not good at all. Rice was not rice and beans like the photo listed and the platanos tasted like the plastic container they were sent in. Never again. Food: 1 Service: 1

Such a shame I have to write a bad review to a place I genuinely enjoy. The food is great in my opinion. The issue is that TWICE I’ve gone and they were closed during their normal operating hours according to google. I went at 7 PM on a SATURDAY, a completely normal time to get dinner. Closed. It says they are open till 9 PM. If you can’t stay open that late just simply change the hours onlineI just don’t understand. Such a shame. Food: 5

Date of Visit: June 10, 2025 – Springfield Location. Let me start by stating that I usually do not write reviews. However, as a non-Cuban customer visiting a “Cuban” restaurant for the first time, my experience left me no choice but to speak up. I could’ve made a better meal at home with some Goya cans and Badia & Sofrito seasoning—and I’m not even Cuban! Let’s start with the most important part: the flavor. Having been lucky enough to try real Cuban dishes during past travels, I was hoping for a taste of authenticity. Sadly, the Carne Picada and Lechón platters from the Steam Menu were bland, lacked seasoning, and did not bring the distinctive Cuban flavor one expects from a restaurant advertising itself as such. The black beans tasted borderline rancid, as if they had been sitting around for days. The congrí rice? Same story—dry, old, and flavorless. I completely understand the need to manage food costs and prep ahead—but serving what tastes like leftovers (past their prime) is just not right, especially when customers are paying full price. Yes, I saw some negative reviews online, and I still gave the place a shot, hoping maybe it was just a few off days. Sadly, I left disappointed, wishing I hadn’t wasted my hard-earned money. Cuban Breeze, you need to do better and stop cutting corners. Daniel, you were polite and respectful during service—but let’s be honest: you knew what you were serving. "No Bueno.".
