Ordered a plate of shellfish and truffle pappardelle.. The truffle was odorless and without any flavor. I pointed this out, it was explained to me that the black truffle is prized but also very delicate in taste..I found it to be an absolutely inappropriate justification. I preferred not to order anything else, expectations unfulfilled.
