We were recommended here by our hotel and also read all the great reviews. Unfortunately they did not live up to the experience. Food was quite uninviting. Entree far too heavy for a summer tonight and the duck was tasteless and tough. Carbonara was over sauced. Service was very spasmodic. - had to ask 3 times for our wine and pepper only came after we finished our meal. No one interested in my opinion of the duck. It was the last night of our European holiday and very disappointed it ended with this under rated experience. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €40–50

I had a wonderful dining experience at Culinaria. I started with the burrata with shrimp, which was fresh, creamy, and beautifully balanced. For the main course, I chose the risotto with lemon thyme, shrimp tartare, and licorice. The combination was unique and surprisingly harmonious, with each ingredient complementing the others perfectly. To finish, I enjoyed the pistachio semifreddo, which was rich, smooth, and the perfect ending to the meal. The quality of the ingredients, presentation, and flavors were excellent throughout. Everything I ordered was delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I would gladly return and recommend Culinaria to anyone looking for a memorable meal in Rome.
