We stopped in for a beverage and snack while waiting to attend a wedding reception. It was our first time so we really didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too noisy - but we had arrived just before the rush, because it started to fill up as we were there. They had a nice selection of drinks and snacks. We got the cheese tray which seemed a bit spendy for the amount we got (see pic) - and housemade chips with onion dip. Since I'm cutting back on carbs, I asked for celery and carrot sticks so I could have some of the onion dip - a cup of carrots and celery sticks was four bucks. The items on the platter were tasty, and we had expected the chips to be warm, but they weren't. And the onion dip was ok - very mild - almost couldn't really taste the onion. We'll definitely plan to come back to try their entrées. Just be aware that prices are a bit on the spendy side, two appetizers and three drinks came to $85 - and supposedly we were there during Happy Hour. Meal type: Other Price per person: $20–30

What a wonderful place to spend our last night in OC. Everything was truly top notch from easy booking of a table, which I do recommend to paying the check. Surprised that there was complementary valet, take advantage of this, we missed it. Makes this place feel even more 5 stars. Food was amazing and so classy, yet not over the top priced. We had the Wagyu Pigs in the Blanket which were sooo yummy, Ma-the Meatloaf, Spicy Rigatoni & a House Salad & The Pub Burger. Honestly it was all sooo delicious and classy. The portions were large and filling, not enough to share but not toooo much (maybe the meatloaf was a bit large). The service staff was top notch as well, Jade our waitress was pretty cool and had the right level of service attention. We sat on the patio as it was beautiful and at the right time they came out and turned the heaters on to ensure their patrons were kept warm. Make this a dinner stop on your next trip through. Culinary Dropout in Orange was amazing. We used the complimentary valet and were seated right on time in a cozy booth—the ambiance is lively and modern. The drinks were the standout. My boyfriend’s espresso martini was the best he’s ever had, and my Tanqueray cocktail was super refreshing. The spicy tuna crispy rice was decadent—just below Nobu Malibu’s in our ranking. For mains, the Mongolian short rib was perfectly cooked and super flavorful, while my chicken katsu was good but not very memorable. The side salad was surprisingly amazing. Our server, Trenton, was great—attentive, friendly, and really made the experience even better. Overall, such a great experience—we can’t wait to come back.
