Generally this place is great, but the food today fell short. Unless you're getting baked goods I wouldn't bother with a meal here, the non baked goods fall short here, by alot. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with fried chicken. The chicken was overcooked and burned, the home fries they served were cold, burned somehow, and tasted day old. The gravy was abysmal, raw flour in the gravy and the sausage wasn't sausage but just ground pork. It was really bad. Coffee was good but food was genuinely inedible. Excellent coffee, excellent food, excellent service. One of my secret desires has always been to live walking distance from a coffee shop; somewhere I could get my morning coffee, enjoy a brunch with friends, or spend an afternoon munching on snacks while sipping fine drinks. I could not have asked for a better coffee shop than Cunningham's Cafe & Bakery. Cunningham's is a quant little shop with limited indoor seating (even before the quarantine), a recently expanded outdoor area, and simple décor. But don't let this humble façade fool you, Cunningham delivers the best experience you want from a cafe: top quality food and coffee. Cunningham's menu isn't particularly massive, but each item is carefully tailored to be absolutely delicious. The breakfast sandwich is inexpensive, but my favorite way to start a day. The hangover fries are perfect for the night of, or day after an ultimate party. All their sandwiches are made on what tastes like fresh made bread and their pancakes are light, fluffy, and the perfect receptacle for maple syrup.   Much like their food menu, Cunningham has a limited coffee menu that's packed with quality. Expect most styles of coffee: americano, latte, iced, etc, with an optional shot of flavored sweetener, or sometimes a combination of sweeteners for specialty drinks. You won't find the crazy concoctions you'd expect at a Starbucks, but you will find perfectly smooth and aromatic coffees.  If you're a cold brew fanatic, then look no further as Cunningham's cold brew is smoother, more flavorful, and packed full of caffeine compared to any other cold brew I've ever had. Service is great, as all the employees there give me the vibe that they're enjoying their work, and on less busy days, I've even got to have a few conversations with them and they are all a cheerful bunch. Whether you need a coffee to go or somewhere to enjoy a weekend brunch, Cunningham's Cafe and Bakery has the quality you need to satisfy.
