Nice atmosphere inside with old fashioned wooden bar, decorated and variety of beers on tap. Chimichurri steak appetizer was inedible, too tough to chew, served on flavorful grits. French fries were crispy and well seasoned. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–30

We ate at Currents on Saturday and had a lovely experience! I had the poke salad with big chunks of tuna, cucumber, avocado and greens with sesame and the special of perfectly seared scallops on a tasty risotto cake with a creamy tomato-based sauce and pesto.YUM! It paired well with a sparkling white wine. I also got to taste the fish and chips. There are SO MANY other good items on the menu. I'll be back soon!

Our server was peppy and cool and we sat outside in the comfortable covered area with fun views of hopping downtown Salida.
