I ordered food from this place twice, and both times I received the wrong order. I called to report the issue, but they didn’t seem to care or make any effort to resolve it. The food and the customer service were both extremely disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from here based on my experience. NOT RECOMMEND Very bad experience at Curry Pot Restaurant, Kollupitiya yesterday. We ordered Hot Butter Cuttlefish expecting the actual dish from the menu, but what they served was some random devel cuttlefish with absolutely no taste. Completely flavorless and nothing close to what we ordered. If you cannot prepare the proper dishes mentioned on your menu, then don’t fool customers by keeping them there. The handling person’s attitude was even worse than the food. No apology, no attempt to correct the mistake, no professionalism at all. Instead, he gave some useless excuse saying “every hotel makes it differently” #මේක#මෙහේ#විදිය .. and just left the plate on our table and walked away. First teach your staff basic customer service before running a restaurant. Bad food quality

Ofcourse one of the best rice and curry places in Colombo with a variety available to choose from. Just be aware of the atmosphere as it is not for the faint of heart, if it's something fancy you want look elsewhere. They're pretty busy so the service will be so-so, you'll have to figure your way around getting yourself served. You're very likely to be sharing a table with someone so be ready for that, it's part of the whole experience. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: Rs 1,000–2,000
