Stumbled across Curry Rasoi because it is nearby, and has a good Google rating, and so glad I did. It is a small restaurant, and I ordered for a take-away collection. Ready in half hour. Came to around £33, and there was more food than the 2 of could finish. Easily enough for 3 people. The flavours are subtle, and has depth. Freshly made. Portion size is good. The Palak Paneer, and Lamb Biryani had lots of paneer and lamb respecrtively. The menu is short by Indian restaurant standards. I like that. Means that the offering is curated, and they don't take the lazy approach of listing a load of sauces (that invariably taste the same) and you choose a protein. They are on delivery platforms, but I ordered directly with them. I prefer to do this so that the restaurant keeps more of the profit. Think I have found my new local Indian take-away. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I can only but highly recommend the Curry Rasoi Reading Indian Restaurant. You feel very welcomed and the highlight is its rich, authentic flavours and fresh ingredients! I usually dine in and it’s ideal for family gatherings or for a single person. I ordered the Vegetable Fried Rice, a soft textured of mix vegetables; cooked in. As a condiment option, I chose the Raita; a smooth bowl of Yogurt with cucumber, mint and roast. It was good value for money, but above all; it was deliciously fried and served with gusto. I did not feel rushed to leave the table and made it for a nice and filling dinner. I’d highly recommend it! Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Very friendly atmosphere!
