Accompanying my new colleague to his goto currywurst shop in town. I had never Curry & Fritz before in favour of Mensa 3, my goto place for this just around the corner. They do their standard currywurst with the Freiburger long reds and have a special house dip too, some cocktail sauce-like mayonnaise so I skipped the Pommes Schranke to get the full scoop.I ordered their hottest version, promisingly titled "fire". I tasted some mild chili powder but unfortunately no heat was apparent whatsoever, not even a spark. My colleague's medium had no punch either but he promised that normally there definitely is some spice so maybe we just chose a weird day.That all being said, my set was pretty darn tasty anyway; solid and snappy sausage, thick sauce, crispy fries. So no hard feelings and probably I'll be coming back to see if we can get a little "fire" going next time.
