Sunday evening there were many people at the lake, and it was crowded at our favorite restaurant. That's why my local friends and I decided to go to D-day. During my previous visits in 2017, 2018 and 2020 we had dinner there a few times and it used to be okay, decent food for reasonable prices. This time it was different. We were the only customers, which in hindsight should already ringed a bell. The food we got was of a poor quality, chicken had a strange smell (spoiled?) and the taste was bad. Compared to previous times the prices had increased by over 50%. My local friends were shocked when they saw the bill. We had much better food for lower prices in different restaurants. The staff was totally uninterested, they didn't care and looked grumpy and annoyed. After we had left I counted the change and noticed they had given 100 THB too little. No big deal, and I should have checked more carefully before we left. But still, this should not happen in a decent restaurant.
