Decided to eat something other than nasi so we chose this restaurant where customers can cook their own ramen at a designated area. Can choose our own preferred noodles and proteins, though the selection isn’t very wide. The price depends on the type of noodles and protein we pick. Upon arrival, there were no other customers yet, probably because it was still early lunch hour. Only pickup orders for delivery services were going on. Since I wasn’t in the mood for rice, I went for the sizzling noodles, which only came in one option, chicken, mushroom, and egg. I also added lemak bakar as a side dish. We decided to try an unfamiliar ramen flavour just to experiment a bit, and we added a jumbo sausage too. The sizzling noodles arrived neither too fast nor too late, timing was just okay. Taste wise, it was a little salty for me, and the noodles were still slightly hard when served. There were only a few pieces of chicken and mushroom. The cooking apparatus and stove were easy to use, though it took some time to get the ramen done. Personally, I wasn’t a fan of the ramen I chose can barely remember the brand or flavour, but it was a stir fried type. As for the lemak bakar, the portion was rather small, with tiny chunks of lemak. Taste wise it was just average, but the dipping sauce definitely saved it, nicely balanced and good enough. Service was okay overall, though the ambience felt quite hot even with the air conditioner on. The menu offers quite a range of other dishes, mostly Malay cuisines.
