As a NYer with very specific standards for Chinese food, I'm definitely no expert in "authentic" Chinese dishes, but I've struggled to find a good Chinese place in Athens that scratches the NY-style Chinese food itch. I'm not sure why I waited so long to try Da Panda - It's definitely the BEST for quick, quality, dependable takeout if you want staple dishes like lo mein, sweet and sour, or kung pao chicken. All the ingredients are super fresh and high quality, including their chicken, and the tastes are seasoned and spiced to perfection! Plus, their dumplings are spring rolls are not overly oily or soggy upon delivery - nice and crisp with the right dipping sauces, too. They are attentive to special requests like well done chicken or no eggs, and it's obvious their kitchen practices are super clean. Would highly recommend - have ordered 4 times in the 2 weeks since I first tried their food. Everything has always been packaged well and arrived quickly, still piping hot.
