I visited Darbar Indian Cuisine during my stay in Bali, and among all the Indian restaurants we tried there, this was the one that impressed us the most. The food was absolutely delicious—authentic Indian taste, perfectly balanced spices, and that familiar home-like flavor. Everything felt fresh, and there was none of the unusual smell that sometimes comes with trying Indian food abroad. It genuinely felt like having a proper meal back in India. The ambience was very nice, and hearing Hindi songs playing in the restaurant made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is located on the roadside and was very convenient for us, as we were staying at EDEN Hotel Kuta Bali, which is just nearby. The service was quick and excellent. The staff were very polite, respectful, and attentive throughout. The chef also seemed highly experienced because even the dessert—moong dal halwa—was perfectly made, which is something not every restaurant gets right. We ordered steamed rice, dal tadka, matar aloo, and moong dal halwa for dessert. Every item tasted excellent, and the quantity was also satisfying. The pricing was similar to other Indian restaurants in Bali, so it felt worth it for the quality. Overall, a highly recommended place if you’re craving authentic Indian food in Bali.
