Fresh! Fresh! Fresh! Excellent quality of food. Fresh pressed Iraqi style lemonade with mint! Excellent. Lentil soup was perfect and heavy on the toasted cumin! Superb. Ask for lemon on side if you need. I ordered the mixed beef kabob and kobiedah but didn’t know I had to specify beef for my kobeidah. It was lamb and extremely fresh so I couldn’t eat it. Was told to order the beef kobeidah next time. The side sides that come on the plate are all fresh and delicious. If you like a particular side in abundance then I suggest you order it separately because the on the plate are about a spoonful each spread across the plate. They were all yummy just wish the portion for it was more. I was still charged in full for the misunderstanding of the beef kobeidah. Must ask for fresh hot sauce otherwise your stuck with siracha option which is not good. It is not easy getting the servers attention once you have been served so ask for everything while she is there at your table or you’ll eat all your food. She does not yet know to come and check during first bites. It was freezing in there and I was able to tell the owner and he cut the ac and it helped tremendously! This is a new and up and coming restaurant so enjoy the experience and the food is delicious. I would like to try to vegetarian combo with a beef kabob next. And I will also be asking if I can do half rice half fries instead of either or. Update to come.
