It’s great to find a restaurant in the area with a dedicated vegan menu, especially given the scarcity of vegan options locally. The menu offers 5 dishes, all featuring The Vegetarian Butcher products, and 2 desserts. Most are reasonably priced at €6–9, although they come without sides. However, on both of my visits, staff initially seemed unaware that the vegan menu even existed! Both times they eventually checked and brought it out, so you may need to persist. I previously had the crispy “chicken” burger (€6.50) for lunch, which was delicious, but unfortunately my recent dinner visit was much less successful. I ordered the vegan hot dog (€6) with chips, but both arrived completely cold and had to be reheated. The hot dog was fine at best and was essentially just a sausage in a bun, missing the pickled onion, gherkin and vegan cheese shown in the menu picture. The chips were also a very small portion. I then ordered the vegan ‘Coulant’ (€6.50), a melt-in-the-middle chocolate pudding, which also arrived cold, so the centre wasn’t melted. We didn’t mention this to the staff as by that point we just wanted to finish up, and it tasted fine despite being very dense. Overall, the dedicated vegan menu is a great start, but the dishes I’ve tried could definitely be improved. The restaurant itself is lovely, with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, a children’s play area upstairs, and wheelchair accessibility with a disabled toilet. I’d love to see the vegan menu made more visible to customers, as it isn’t currently listed on the website or offered when guests are handed the main menu. Hopefully it gets a little more attention from both the kitchen and front-of-house staff, because there’s definitely potential here. Dietary restrictions: The main menu has clear allergen labelling, although always double-check with staff. The separate vegan menu does not have allergen information. Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot, Free of charge street parking Kid-friendliness: Excellent - Kids’ play area upstairs, plus a dedicated kids’ menu section on the main menu. There are currently no vegan options on the kids’ menu, although the existing vegan menu could easily provide suitable options for children. Wheelchair accessibility: Good - Main dining area is wheelchair accessible and there is a disabled toilet, but the children’s play area is upstairs and I don’t believe there is a lift, so the upstairs area may not be accessible to wheelchair users.

Waited 35 minutes for 2 ice creams. It wasn't the staffs fault. They had one staff member managing an entire floor with 20 plus tables. Felt bad for the lady as she was trying her best. Soft play area is great for kiddies especially in the heat wave. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5
