We found Dona Italian Restaurant near the station, and it turned out to be the perfect final meal of our trip. One big advantage was that it’s open at lunchtime, which isn’t always easy to find. From the moment we sat down, everything exceeded our expectations. The pasta was absolutely delicious—rich, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. The pizza had a nice Japanese-Italian fusion touch (we tried one with salmon), which worked surprisingly well. The spicy chicken dish wasn’t traditional Italian either, but again, the fusion approach made it incredibly tasty. The wine selection was also impressive—we even found a high-quality organic wine, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, this was the best Italian restaurant we tried in Japan. My son said it was the best pizza and pasta he had in Tokyo...in fact, he said the best he ever had in a restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Kid-friendliness: Yes, kid friendly. It was quiet and calm even though it was full. Food and water came very fast.
