Best bar on the island. Rent a bike at the port and take a scenic ride. Independently owned, cheap strong drinks, awesome staff. Laid back vibe. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My first time at Dons' Place was with my friend Herb Diegl with Universal Medical Lasers in 2000 and I was very impressed with the bar and the owners, Don & Don. I had a great time spending time there indulging in my favorite beverages and their great food. It also was my first experience playing bocce ball at the outside 'tiki bar' and throwing darts, and playing pool inside as well. For a memento, I even bought myself a bar tee shirt, (which I still have and wear to this day). It's been a long, long, time since discovering Dons' Place and Key West and I plan to go back in the very near future... Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
