Amazing food, and the awesome owner even offered my cousin and I unsold but hot delicious wings before closing. The owner is One of the coolest guys I have ever met and that brisket was outstanding.

Such an awkward experience last summer. I ordered the "brisket BBQ plate". JP asks, "do you want bread?" I'm thinking... it's just a side of bread, so I said no thanks. So he brings out a plate with 2 thin slices of brisket with some pickles or something small along side it. I say... this is 14€? Is this supposed to be a sandwich? Then he says, " well yah, but you said you didn't want bread." The rest of the interaction was him being sarcastic... as if I had insulted him. I tried to be friendly and just have a conversation with him... asking how long he's had the business, how's he like it in Germany... etc. He just seemed annoyed that he had to go back and make the sandwich. I'm sure the food is good. He seemed to be friendly with other customers, but I'll never eat here again. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

DP Smokes barbeque is going to be my next stop for lunch or if I can swing it, dinner for the family. Located in the Landstuhl Kaufland parking lot and well worth the visit! The gentleman running the place offered me a rib while sheltering under his awning from the rain. That was the most delicious rib I've ever tasted, this coming from someone who generally avoids ribs when offered. The meat nearly melted off the bone as he handed it to me and the brown sugar crust was delicious! I'm currently trying to convince my spouse to change dinner plans in favor of this smoked meat! Spread the word, arm the masses, storm the parking lot! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
