Gelato was very good but the service horrible. Just take your ice cream to go because it is double price if you sit. Also the waiters were very rude, the moment we sat down for drinks and looked at the menu they came 5 times to ask us what we want to order, while we told them politely we need more time to read the menu. Their reaction was so rude, they told us we have no time, and that this is not a public space. We literally only looked at the menu for 2 minutes! So we told them that if they don't give us time we don't give them money and left while the waiter was still shouting to us.

Good patio but got yelled at for having a water bottle because “they sell water here” when I just went there for coffee. As a tourist, I have a water bottle everywhere I go..they walked away without taking my order and lost business, meanwhile I just gave my business to the next person down.

We sat down with my wife to eat something on a rainy day. While we were looking at the menu, they told us the kitchen was closed around 6:30 PM. Up to that point, everything was normal. Since we were thinking about having dessert and trying some local pastries, we were still checking the menu to decide what to order. Then the waiter came and asked what we wanted. I simply said, “Just give us 5 more minutes.” In a very rude and irritated tone, he replied, “You don’t have 5 minutes. Order now or don’t order at all.” His attitude was completely inappropriate. Even then, I didn’t want to make it a problem and just said, “Alright then, no thanks, we’re leaving.” But he kept complaining and talking behind our backs as we walked away. This kind of behavior does not fit Capri’s lively and welcoming tourist atmosphere at all. If you don’t want to be treated like a walking wallet and disrespected, never go there.
