My boyfriend and I ate at Pancrazio dal 1922 on August 19th 2026. We reserved a table downstairs in the archeological zone which was so special! The atmosphere was wonderful. We tried classic Italian foods such as the Margarita pizza, Carbonara pasta, Caesar salad with an Aperol Spritz and a Tiramisu at the end. Everything tasted amazing. Our server Tom was very professional and kind. He came over often to make sure our food and we were okay. I would 100% recommend this restaurant during your visit in Rome. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40

Ristorante Pancrazio dal 1922 completely dispelled my initial fear of it being just another tourist trap. The setting is wonderful —especially the lower cellar dining area, which feels like you are eating inside an actual archaeological site. The menu features classic Roman dishes at fair prices, though we were a bit disappointed by the wine pricing, the modest pour sizes by the glass, and the fact that the white wine wasn't served sufficiently chilled. However, the food more than made up for it. The carbonara was perfectly balanced with al dente rigatoni, and the gnocchi with ragù was rich and delicious. Combined with excellent and attentive service, this is easily a place worth stopping by for lunch or dinner in Rome. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €30–40
