We hired Da Spottt to cater for a large party. The order was seamless with help and advice with a great choice of food from the menu. The display was impressive, delivered well on time. Feedback from attendees about the service and taste was hugely positive. Delicious food all round. We'll continue to work with this company for upcoming events and have already recommended their services to others. Thanks to the Da Spott team! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I came to Da Spottt, in March, to commemorate my late father's 84th Birthday. It's 15 years since he passed, today. It was just a personal commemoration. I'd spent the day doing things to remember & celebrate his life, in a way he would've enjoyed; on my own, for quiet contemplation. Finishing the day with a meal at a Jamaican restaurant that I'd been meaning to visit was perfect. I was greeted by the friendly Maître De, Latonya, as I walked through the door. It was getting fairly late, so they were quiet; a blessing, for me. Unfortunately, they'd just run out of Curry Goat; mine & my dad's favourite... They did have Oxtail; so I ordered a large, with Rice & Peas. I hadn't specified Eat-In, so I was brought the food in a Takeaway box. Again, another blessing; the portion was generous, so I had enough to take home & enjoy the next day! The Oxtail was tender, gliding off the bone from a gentle nudge of my spoon. I was impressed that their Rice & Peas was made with authentic Gungo Peas! I usually get Kidney Beans; this was a very pleasant surprise. The meal was delicious, & even more so, the next day, after extra time to marinate! &, as for the service; I couldn't have asked for better; particularly on that day. Latonya was extremely welcoming, helpful with getting a plate for me, after I'd forgotten to request Eat-in, & friendly to chat with. We talked, breezily, about my dad, my recent health issues, & a little politics. I was made to feel at ease; as if I had been eating at home. I'm looking forward to dining, or getting Takeaway, from Da Spottt, again, soon! I cannot recommend them more highly! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It was my first time eating here and would definitely come back! I had the brown stew chicken which was delicious and my partner had a bean dish specially prepared as she’s vegan which she also loved. The owner was really friendly too! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
