A wonderful dining experience in the heart of Matera At DaMò, we discovered a restaurant that truly knows how to showcase the flavours and ingredients of the region, transforming authentic local produce into refined, high\-quality cuisine The quality of the ingredients is evident in every dish, but what really stands out is the chef’s ability to give traditional Lucanian flavours a contemporary and elegant interpretation without losing their authenticity. The dishes are beautifully presented, well balanced and creative, while remaining deeply connected to the local culinary tradition. A special mention must also go to the service: professional, attentive and knowledgeable, yet warm and welcoming. The staff are always present when needed without ever being intrusive, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. DaMò proves that great cuisine does not require exotic ingredients: it requires excellent local produce, skill, creativity and the ability to tell the story of a region through.
