Placed a delivery order from Daal Roti Indian Tadka House in Pickering for three vegetarian dishes - Bhindi Masala, Mutter Paneer & Daal Makhani each of which included a complimentary naan or roti. We selected both naan and roti. All the three dishes were really good. I didn’t see any extra oil in either of the dishes. They were all made pretty well. The bhindi masala looked quite appetizing and the bhindi was crispy. The mutter paneer gravy tasted great with the right amount of spices. The daal makhani was delicious too. The only thing I felt was that the naan wasn’t crisp and a bit thick. The rotis were fine. The total cost for the order was $60 which is pricey but the quality was pretty good. One of the best Indian restaurants in the Durham region that I have tried so far! Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Usually I don't write a bad review and I like to call the restaurant (Daal Roti @ Pickering) and give my feedback so that they can improve. Even then I called them up and told them how I felt about their food. However, I would like to go public with the review as this is a franchised restaurant which means that they should have a stricter quality control. We ordered chana masala from Dal Roti today and was shocked at the quality of food! The chana (chick peas) were not even cooked and it tasted like they were added into a preprepred sauce. The worst part is that one dish was for $15 plus tax, with no side serving of bread, ridiculous! Whoever is running the show needs to not cheat people with badly cooked food and ridiculous prices! Highly disappointed!
