I had to eat iekei ramen at least once during my trip before heading back to the US, so I came here on my last night in Tokyo. The chashumen was the bowl of rich soup and thick noodles that I craved, topped with some of the largest slices of pork I've ever had the pleasure of consuming. I didn't go crazy with toppings and stuck with the standard nori and spinach. You can also get unlimited self-serve rice for an additional 100 yen... maybe if I was younger, but it was enough just to get through the bowl on its own. I didn't even shovel more garlic into the bowl, the broth was already that good. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Holiday in late October 2023 Ramen 800 yen + beer (medium bottle) 550 yen I liked the bowl of Ura Daikiya that I ate the other day, so I wanted to try it at the main store as well, so I visited. Walk for about 10 minutes from JR Kamata Station and arrive inside the arcade. There are 12 counter seats surrounding the kitchen. It was after 1pm and about 90% of customers were occupied. I bought a ticket for ramen and beer from the ticket vending machine. All my preferences were normal. At Ura Daikiya, rice was 100 yen, but at this place, rice is free. I self-serve rice in a small bowl and take a seat. Goods on the table include grated garlic, coarsely ground chili pepper, Kiwami ginger, Kiwami garlic, mayonnaise, and ramen vinegar. Ao Gappa and other items are available in the rice corner. After putting on a lot of rice and drinking beer while waiting, the rice bowl was served in about 5 minutes. The soup is rich and relaxing due to the flavor of the pork bones and chicken oil. It's so delicious that you can't help but nod. However, the density of the kaeshi is normal and I think it could be a little darker. Compared to Ura Daikiya, which I ate earlier, this one is milder and easier to eat. On the other hand, the Ura Daiki family has better punching power, and it seems like the Ura Daiki family increased the concentration of pork bones in their soup to make Kaeshi's punch stronger. The noodles are short, medium-thick noodles that come in a Sakai Seimen noodle box. It's chewy and definitely delicious. Ingredients are smoked char siu, spinach, and seaweed. One super large piece of smoked char siu. It has a nice smoky aroma and is a good snack for beer. The spinach was a bit runny, but it soaked up the soup and was delicious. Eating rice with seaweed soaked in soup is always delicious. There are also a wide variety of tabletop goods, and it's great that you can enjoy so many things for just 800 yen. I finished my meal and almost finished the soup, but I ended up leaving just a little bit left. Thank you for the meal.
