Amazing food, cosy atmosphere and almost only locals - which is a good sign. We were surprised by how amazing this was and we really recommend everyone visiting Kyoto to visit them. Keep in mind that this is a Japanese restaurant with a Japanese menu (not translated). We used Google/Apple Translate to know what’s on the menu. We had an amazing night after a long day of sightseeing around Kyoto. Food was espectacular, ambience was very relaxing and comfortable, and service was excellent. Our host was very patient with us considering we don't speak Japanese and helped us through the menu. Wwe ordered skirt steak and pork loin, it was the best I have ever had, specially with the sauce.
