We had wonderful lunch there. Three course set (surprise) menu. All courses were excellent. Desert was pleasant surprise, 3 different small deserts, all wonderful. Off the main street, but a few steps from the historic center, there is this typical but unconventional restaurant. They offer surprise menus chosen by them that change every day based on the fresh fish found by the chef! Typical cuisine but with a pleasant touch of innovation. The best experience in Suvereto and surroundings! Average price given the quality of the raw materials. Dal Cacini is, simply put, one of my favorite restaurants ANYWHERE. I write that as a foodie who lives in California in the Bay Area and who comes from Italy. Marco and Moira, the wonderful couple running Dal Cacini, have passion and talent which is reflected in an outstanding all-fish menu. On top of that, they are the most delightful human beings, always open and ready to share the history or a dish, an ingredient, or a wine. All of this in a historical building on a terrace that will make you forget whatever thoughts you had coming in. Just try it!
