Hey hey Hey !! Oh My Goodness!!! Dalia’s is soooo yummy ! Jennifer and get family own the place and they are such beautiful, sweet and kindhearted people who you can just feel and tell they love to help and feed people ! That is so huge because that love they put into their food! The restaurant is incredibly and impeccably clean and not a spot or blemish. Even the bathrooms are so clean that you could eat in them! No lie or exaggeration it’s literally that clean! It smells good and you will want to respect them and this awesome place because they are respectful and super hospitable! The food is affordable and delicious and for a good price they give you a hearty filling!!! Please come here and give it a try ! You will never know until your try!! You will not Be disappointed! I’m a skinny girl and their food helped me get thick and juicy lol !!! Come come come!!! Was looking for a new place to try and found this * Dalia's African Cuisine, 364 Garrisonville Rd Suite #101 Stafford, VA 22554 Date inspected: Oct. 19 Total violations: 35 The person in charge could not provide a written employee health. EHS provided a sample employee health policy. Observed employee's food stored on the prep table where she was making soups. Observed employee rinse her hands in the 3-compartment sink. EHS discussed this with the employee. The hand sink in the front of the house and in the kitchen are blocked with equipment. The person in charge removed the items. Observed no hand soap at the hand sink in the men's restroom and at the kitchen hand sink. Observed raw shell eggs stored over cooked soups and sauces in the walk in cooler. Observed uncovered spices in the dry storage area. Observed plastic containers, dispensing utensils, and counter tops in the prep area that were soiled to site and touch. Observed both microwaves that require cleaning. Observed baked fish that was prepared approximately 12:00 am sitting on a shelf that measured 76'F and soup that measured 67'F. Observed plantains holding at 112'F and fried chicken at 80'F hot holding at improper temperatures. EHS discussed this with the person in charge. Observed cut cabbage at 70'F, fish at 80'F, stomach at 76'F cold holding at improper temperatures. Observed soups, stews, cooked rice that were not date marked. Observed chemicals stored with equipment, single service, and food. The person in charge removed the chemicals. Observed cooked fish and soup that was made last night siting on a shelf to cool. Observed 4 bags of spinach stored in standing water to thaw. The person in charge could not provide a thin probe thermometer. Observed small and large flies in the prep area. Observed the front door open on the facility. Observed sunlight coming from under the rear door. Observed food stored on the floor in walk in freezer. Observed garlic stored on the dish drain with dirty dishes. Observed thawing bag of beets in the 3-compartment sink next to dirty dishes. Observed a wet wiping cloth stored on the counter top. Observed dispensing utensils stored with the food-contact surface facing upwards. Observed single service items stored with the food-contact surface facing upwards. Observed single service items stored on the floor. Observed broken ceramic dishes and a blender that was repaired with tape. Observed that the cutting board is heavily scratched and scored. Observed foods stored in plastic containers and grocery bags that are not food-grade. Observed plastic trash bags used to cover equipment. Observed that the facility did not have sanitizer available. The person in charge got the sanitizer from their car. Observed that the sprayer on the mop sink hose requires a dual check valve. Observed the following physical facilities in need of repair: the pipes under the 3-compartment sink, faucet on the 3-compartment sink, wall beside the walk in cooler door, and missing ceiling tiles around the hot water heater. Observed chairs and unused equipment in the kitchen. Observed that the floors, walls, and ceiling are in need of detailed cleaning to include the mop sink, floor drain, Observed maintenance tools stored over food products in the dry storage area. Observed that the light shield is missing in the kitchen. Observed a sock, cell phone, and keys stored with the equipment throughout the kitchen.
