Nestled in the heart of Iida's residential area, Damanito is a quaint spot on Kamisatokuroda. Known mostly through word of mouth and a modest Google listing, this establishment specializes in delivering distinctive dessert experiences. Favoring quality over quantity, its scones—ranging from lemon to seasonal treats like black bean cheese and caramelized sweet potato—are said to ooze flavor without overwhelming sweetness. The lines form early as patrons eagerly anticipate the opening.
Despite the popularity, Damanito maintains a low profile in larger restaurant directories, leaving visitors primarily informed by past reviews. Though Instagram is the go-to source for knowing the operation days, specificity is overlooked in favor of charm and taste. Accessibility options are rather limited, and dining onsite is non-existent, with takeaway as the prime option. Aspiring diners meet a fashionable, quiet atmosphere brought to life by easygoing and pleasant service.
Yet, the absence of recent proprietor updates on open hours or particular dish details may necessitate a degree of patience and adaptability. Despite these unknowns, customer anecdotes sing praises of the feeling of community fostered by warm interactions and a stylish presentation all around. For enthusiasts keen on gathering an assortment of scones, arriving early is advised as popularity causes rapid sell-outs.

Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000
