Five stars all the way! If you visit, make sure to look for Eyad. He provides the absolute best costumer service. He welcomed us with a huge smile, was incredibly patient while we ordered, and made sure our shawarmas were made exactly to our liking. Disappointing Experience: I had a very disappointing experience at Damascus Fine Mediterranean Foods. The food is extremely overpriced for the small portions they serve, and it is definitely not worth the money. Poor Quality & Hygiene: The taste was completely underwhelming, and I actually found onion peels mixed into my food. On top of that, the overall cleanliness and ambiance do not justify the high prices—charging $5 for a single can of Pepsi is ridiculous. Final Verdict: I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $30–40 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Amazing shawarma while visiting Calgary. I’ve had a lot of shawarma in Toronto, but this was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything tasted very fresh, and the way they prepare the bread was on point. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
