You can come to this restaurant after seeing Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art. Dancing Ganesha offers its visitors Indian cuisine. Eating good lamb masala, garlic naans and butter chicken is a pleasant experience here. People can order tasty mango pudding and nicely cooked yogurt at this place. You will be offered good tea or good mango lassi. Clients don't highly appreciate beer at this spot.

The cosy atmosphere of this restaurant makes guests feel relaxed and have a nice time. The attentive staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. The enjoyable service demonstrates a high level of quality at Dancing Ganesha. Attractive prices are what you are to pay for your meal. With the spectacular decor, visitors may feel at home there. This place was rated on Trip, it got 4.

Quality has gone down so much in the last year. I came here for my 2 year anniversary - servers were wearing T-shirts and shorts, not even coordinated just plain street clothes. Ordered naan with no butter and it came with butter anyway (it wasn't busy). Server forgot to bring us silverware and napkins and messed up the drink order. The whole time they're playing early 2000s Taylor Swift pretty loud. I went home and cried because I felt our anniversary had been ruined - this is not the amazing restaurant full of atmosphere and personality I remember (although the food costs the same )

I'm so sad to see the changes in Dancing Ganesha.  Lunch has gone down in price, but even farther down in quality.   1)  The naan!  It's hard.  You can break it.  Naan should be stretchy, not brittle. 2)  The curries are watery and there is little in terms of high quality ingredients. 3)  What's up with the introduction of a soda fountain?  If you are going to provide drinks, chai tea would be lovely.  Save the money you spend on providing soda and invest in the ingredients. 4)  The renovation of the space is disappointing.  It's like you took a really comfortable, open space and created a cramped, confining one.  The booths might have meant to be private/intimate, but they feel claustrophobic to me.  They are, by far, my smallest concern.  It's just a shame that money was spent making the restaurant less appealing. 5)  The new staff has been polite, but they don't seem to know much about what it means to run an authentic Indian restaurant.   PLEASE:   1)  Increase the quality of the buffet.  Better ingredients.  I never again what to come in and see "mixed frozen vegetables curry."  Put some chicken in the butter chicken.  As it is, the lunch buffet is like playing "go fish" for protein.  Put some samosas out.  I realize this increases the price, but go ahead.  I don't go to Dancing Ganesha to get a cheap meal with a soda.  I want an authentic Indian experience with good ingredients. 2)  Be more authentic.  Stop serving salad with Italian dressing.  Get rid of the soda.  Serve chai tea if you want to serve a drink.   We really want to keep an Indian restaurant in Manhattan.  Please don't shoot yourself in the foot by maintaining this new business plan.
