Not only should Oharai-machi be visited, but also Dango-ya. Taste good dumplings at Dango-ya when you happen to be near it. Do not go away without degusting nicely cooked rice cakes.
Many people think that the staff is pleasant at this place. Professional service is something visitors agree upon here. Expect the peaceful atmosphere at this spot. But a number of guests who use Google didn't grant Dango-ya a high rating.

Heard about this dango shop and came to try. The mitarashi dango is savoury whilst the black candy is on the sweet side. Not too bad. Something I haven't eaten before in my Japan trips

Since this store is eligible for eating out coupons, I eat mitarashi dango here every year during New Year's visit. It's so delicious. However, there aren't many seats, so you'll have to eat by the river in the back... Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
