The food was very very delicious, the staff was so humble and friendly.. another fancy restaurant was full so we found this place and I am so grateful we did. Daniel’s was upstairs and finding it without knowing is hard. But it is sooo worth it Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

How on earth is this place sitting at a 4.0 on Google? I genuinely need to have a respectful conversation with the other 20%. We ordered the spaghetti carbonara, spaghetti alla Norma, spaghettoni with guanciale, and spaghetti arrabbiata — essentially a carb tour of Italy — and every single plate delivered. The carbonara was silky and unapologetically rich (as it should be). The Norma was perfectly balanced and comforting. The guanciale situation? Salty, savory perfection. And the arrabbiata had just the right kick — enough heat to wake you up, not enough to call the fire department. Service was seamless, warm, and genuinely attentive without hovering. And the prices? I’ve paid three to four times more in New York for Italian food that didn’t come close to this level. Absolute A++. Do not — I repeat — do not sleep on this spot. Perfectly cooked pasta and amazing service. The pasta was so good we tried 4 different kinds. The carbonara was probably our favorite, but they were all amazing. Portions are small but who cares for less than 2000 yen a plate. We were happy to try a variety rather than have a huge bowl of just one kind. One of our best meals in Japan, highly recommend!
