German cuisine provides flavorsome food at this restaurant. The chef at Danzer's cooks tasty potato salads, French onion soup and reuben sandwiches. To taste perfectly cooked pancakes, apple fritters and Brezeln is a truly nice idea. Good draft beer is offered at this place. You will be offered great coffee.

I've ordered here since they re-opened under new ownership recently at least 20 times. Everytime has been delivery except for once I went in. The delivery option is the main reason we started ordering Jd's after receiving one of their flyers in the mail. (We don't have a car and often need to pay in cash.)Usually we get a pizza and hot wings. Had the chicken Parm with salad a few times. Their side salad is so good! The freshest little tomatoes on it I've ever had, every time (I don't know how it's even possible), Greek olives, cucumbers and the lettuce all very fresh. I'm addicted to the mozzarella sticks (the perfect snack craving). Inside the restaurant is a big space with plenty of seating, a bar with tv's, authentic German decor, a juke box. Will continue to order. *It's also worth mentioning they have a party deal on a huge pizza and wings for a much more affordable price than any place around! Highly recommend you use them for your next party or gathering. I wanted to like this place, I love German food, I was unable to get any German potato salad today; I walk in, point out what I want, and the staffer says something (am deaf). She seemed a bit confused, so I point it out again. I used to get great potato salad, made at home, my then partner was from Hamburg. I'll need to begin preparing it myself; not an issue, I prepare foods from many countries. Thank you for your response; I'll now ask for french fries, or fried mushrooms. San Francisco, CA is a great city for vegetarians, most cities aren't, but we survive. I'll pick up some plant-based bratwurst. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
