I tried the gnocchi and lasagna on two different visits! The outdoor garden is absolutely beautiful with shade and fans running. If you are going to get dessert (even if you are full!!), definitely give the Tiramisu a try! The sweet lightness and creaminess literally made me feel like I was on cloud 9! Best tiramisu I’ve ever had in my life. This is a hidden gem that can easily be walked by with so many other restaurants nearby. If you are in Rome, come here!!! I will come back whenever I am back in Rome! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20

The food at this place was awful. I'm not sure I would classify it as food. Undercooked pasta with zero meat, and a "pizza" with 5 olives thrown in one corner, a quarter boiled egg and a small piece of artichoke in the other, with a sliver of prosciutto. The Italians at another table seemed to have nice food on their table. Maybe they hate tourists. Food: 1 Service: 2

Hostaria Dar Buttero is a family-owned spot in Trastevere, offering very affordable prices compared to many other places in Rome. The owner’s warm hospitality, frequently checking in to ensure everything is okay, adds a personal touch. While it might not serve the best Roman cuisine or the highest quality dishes and the most clean restaurant it can be cleaner , it’s decent and provides a good opportunity to support lesser-known hosterias. A nice choice for a casual meal and authentic local vibe. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30
