Dar1 is a modest eatery nestled on Nauryzbai Batyr Street, conveniently close to the Zhibek Zholy metro station in Almaty. Despite its central location, it doesn't feature prominently in most popular restaurant directories, though you can find a minimal profile of it on Google. The current lack of comprehensive information from the owner means precise operating hours remain unknown.
The restaurant offers both takeaway and dine-in services, making it a flexible choice for various occasions. It's known to accommodate solo diners just as comfortably as groups, contributing to its casual and cozy atmosphere. A limited range of offerings includes coffee, which complements its focus on lunch and dinner service nicely.
Families may find Dar1 welcoming, as it mentions being good for kids. For those concerned about payment options, both credit and debit cards are accepted here. Although there are no available user reviews at this time, the presence of these features might appeal to diners seeking a straightforward and practical dining experience in the heart of Almaty.

This lovely sweet lady did the best Qurutob I've ever eaten (it's my first Qurutob). Sadly I found this place on my last day in Almaty but I would come again if I had the chance. It's a hidden gem near the Arbat street. You tell her what you want and she'll cook it for you. I was very full, I asked for Qurutob (there's no menu which is even better, you gotta go there often to know what she offers). Great value for money especially for backpackers like me. Price per person: ₸1–5,000
