We dropped in for coffee & tea mid afternoon a few days ago. We were surprised to find the coffee shop looking so poorly. When we inquired about loose leaf tea the barista told us that they only had an Earl Gray tea Sorry to say we probably won't be back. We were hoping that the store was focused on cleanliness & customer service. By the way the Americano I ordered was very good.

I like to review this place over and over and over because it's my favorite. Full disclosure I am a regular and have become friends with the owner and the crew. First things first: if you're put off by the decor, this is a you problem. The coffee is sublime and I like the fact that the regulars aren't vapid dumbasses talking about the weather. If you want to strike up a good conversation with thoughtful people, this is one of the few spots in A-Town where that's pretty a guarantee every time you walk through the door. Everyone here is super accepting, open, intelligent, and kind. If you're not those things, this probably isn't your spot. If you are those things, this probably is a spot you'll like. They're doing a bunch of cool metal and weird-ass music shows, and I love this for A-town.
