Ignore other places, discover the Japanese menu at this restaurant. Good california rolls, miso soup and tempura are among the dishes to be ordered at Dashiwa Sushi. The terrific staff welcomes guests all year round. If you want to enjoy nice service, you should go to this place. From the guests' viewpoint, prices are fair. Most clients highlight that the cute decor inside is enjoyable.

I've actually had really good sushi and service here. I get my hair done at the salon next-door and often order take out to eat at the salon and they have always been very accommodating and sushi has always been very fresh. I would recommend giving it a try.

I had a take out order for my housewarming party last month. I paid $100 for 2 party trays and was expecting decent sizes of sushi and sashimi. Quite the opposite! I didn't open up my party trays until I got home and was so disappointed! The pieces were tiny and I felt like I just threw away my money. My party guests did not even eat half of the party trays and I ended up throwing out the rest of it. I was a repeat customer before and had good service and quality food, but I think the restaurant had changed ownership recently. Disappointing!

I don't know about the previous reviewers comments because this place certainly is nothing like what he described. I found the food to be quite good and the freshness was right on. I ordered the sushi and sashimi plate and the house roll. The quality was very good. The temperature of the sashimi was spot on. Some places make the mistake of serving it close to frozen because they don't take the time to thaw it out properly. The presentation was nice and tastefully done. Admittedly the portions are not as sizeable as others but sometimes you want to eat something that you can actually wrap your mouth around. Size isn't everything folks. The restaurant was clean and very quaintly decorated. The bathroom is clean and tidy. And that sometimes tells you plenty about the care taken by the employees. I will come back for sure. I highly recommend this place. FYI the house roll is not chock full of rice which is a good thing. And this place is now called Dashiwa sushi.
