Me and my partner came into town for a getaway. Dave served us and was so kind! I got the chicken parm and he got 8oz steak. The steak was juicy and well-seared. The veggies were perfectly grilled and not oily. The chicken parm was so juicy and the portions are perfect!! The food is fresh and the atmosphere is very homey. Thank you Dave! Not impressed, especially for the prices being charged. (While I understand why restaurants are charging so much more these days, they need to be offering an exceptional atmosphere and service to try and justify their prices, which Dave's Place Restaurant doesn't.) Food was adequate, but portions (Again, for the prices being charged.) were on the small side. Lots of better value eating options available nearby which I'd recommend you try. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$30–40

I am sorry that you feel this way. I don’t know what to say. You paid $13.50 for freshly grilled chicken breast and quality bacon on a ciabatta bun with fresh lettuce and tomato … and good quality fries. If you can get better anywhere else in Bancroft, then I recommend you go there.

Found this little gem and so glad we did! Very friendly small town atmosphere and the food is awesome! Had dinner and now breakfast. Will definitely be back again!
