Im pretty sure we were discriminated against. I’ve been to De Fortune several times, but unfortunately today’s experience left a really bad impression on me. We stopped in during happy hour while bar hopping and were told by our waitress that our table had a drink minimum. We thought this was odd, especially during happy hour, but what really bothered us was that the same requirement didn’t seem to apply to other customers. The table next to us was not told they had a minimum, and we even asked another table who the same waitress was serving , who confirmed they had not been given a drink minimum either. I completely understand establishments having policies, but they should be clearly communicated and applied consistently to everyone. When our table is being told we have to meet a minimum while multiple other tables around us are not being held to that same requirement, it raises questions about why we were treated differently. As a returning customer, the inconsistency made the experience feel discriminatory and was extremely disappointing. If a drink minimum is an actual De Fortune policy, it should apply equally to everyone, not selectively depending on the customer or server.

My wife and I visited De Fortune for a date night, and we had a great experience. The atmosphere was one of the highlights of the evening. The vibe was relaxed and inviting, the interior décor was enchanting, and the ambient lighting created the perfect setting for a night out together. My only feedback is that the cocktails weren’t very strong. They tasted more like juice and had a heavy syrup flavor. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back. If you’re looking for a beautiful spot with an amazing ambiance for a date night or an evening out, De Fortune is definitely worth checking out. Price per person: $100+ Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
