Right after seeing Square and Statue of Simon Stevin, come for a meal. Immerse yourself in wonderful Belgian and French cuisines here. Order perfectly cooked succulent steaks, eel and lobsters. Many guests come here to try good crème brûlée, parfait and chocolate mousse. Delicious house wine, belgian beer or Irish coffee are among the most often ordered drinks at this restaurant. Chocolate frappe lovers will find it great.

Professional service is something that people highlight in their comments. Prices at this spot claim to be affordable. The fancy decor will satisfy the taste of each visitor. Google users assigned the rating of 4.3 to this restaurant.

We wanted to have lobster close to our hotel, thus visited this restaurant.I ordered grilled lobster with garlic butter, the taste is good in general, but the tail of the lobster is a bit chewy, and the rice that came together is undercooked. I would recommend the visitors to try out the boiled option. They gave small shrimps as starters, it's tasteless and a bit of hussle to peel off the shell. The waiters are okay-friendly, but can be better for a restaurant of this price.

Best meal we had in Bruges. Be sure to order the goat cheese salad appetizer. Sounds silly, but it was the star of the meal: a warmed slice of goat cheese, little bits of ham, pine nuts, slivers of apple. The best goat cheese salad this spoiled SF Bay Area girl has ever had. What sets De Koetse apart from the rest is truly top-notch service and timing, as well as beyond the typical moules-frites fare (though they offer this dish, too).  I eyeballed the juicy lamb chops at the next table and know they would be my main dish selection next time. My husband and I had the sole and eel with green sauce for mains. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but on the other hand, who can complain when a lovely bottle of Sauvignon Blanc only set us back 23 Euro?
