I'm so surprised at the high reviews for this place... I don't recommend it. This restaurant seemed understaffed. Beef stew was served barely warm and tasted too sweet. The rabbit was similar. We had just arrived in Bruges and didn't have much time to find a spot for dinner. Tables were not cleared when we arrived. Waitress was apologetic, friendly, and understandably stressed. But really they should have turned us away. Service was a little slow. Staff member's dog was barking in the restaurant. My partner received the wrong beer. Bizarre experience. They had sold out of the chicken waterzooi. Not good value at all. Disappointing first meal in Bruges. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
