Who knew such an amazing Italian deli existed in Arizona? This deli and shop is super cute, with very friendly and helpful employees. Their menu is big and has so many choices! Hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, salads, deli salads, and pasta. Pizza, and calzones. They have a big drink selection and nice dessert and pastry case. I had an Italian sausage sandwich with peppers and onions topped with mozzarella. (Their sauce and sausage are house made.) I also had a cannoli, which was delicious, and the filling was smooth, and the shell was just perfect as it should be. It definitely compares with the cannolis in Bostons North end. The chicken parmesan was the best I've EVER tasted.. the cheesesteak was divine as well. The seating area was nice, especially outside. If I were local, I would be a weekly regular.

Defalco's Italian Deli & Grocery . Located in south Scottsdale. The honest review here is the pizza was amazing! I scored it an 8.2 which is high enough of a score to be tied 3rd for best local pizza! If you've never been, you need to go! . Having a connection to a large Italian family and eating most of my childhood pizza out of an Italian marketplace I can really appreciate the ambiance of DeFalco's. Defalco's Italian Deli & Grocery. That's my boy eating pizza and I'm sure a lot of you mothers out there are thinking... what idiot dresses a kid in a white shirt to go eat pizza.... that's me ‍. I did that. .
