I was there last week..... The bartender was very polite, 5+ The waitress was very nice, 5+ Food: I am also a chef, I ordered zander with a mix of lettuces and dry white wine, the zander had only salt and the rosti looked like it had been reheated. I've been here many times and there have never been any complaints comments, but what I received was crap. In particular, he irritated me that guy who boasted that he had a loyalty card from his boss. Cool! Who cares, for me it's just a simple beetroot. Del Mar has a unique location, at the very beach and surrounded by it. It's marvelous to just sit under the huge umbrella, sipping a drink, enjoying the great food that this restaurant offers and to just relax. I would particularly recommend their Lithuanian Chlodnik, and shrimps :)
