Simple, traditional food. No frills. Not a tourist trap. They were out of a few items, which is always a good sign to me. Been to a bunch of places across Italy and had my best meal here. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The service at Trattoria Dell'Omo was exceptional. Patient, careful, and warm from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely have empathy for travelers, which is rarer than it should be in Rome. The waiter who looked after us, the one working the front of the house (I am sorry I did not catch his name), was kind, caring, patient, and attentive the whole time. He treated us like people, and honestly that is what matters most when you are far from home. This is not a tourist trap. It is an oasis in a city that so often just wants to squeeze everything out of visitors without caring who they are. The pasta is wonderful, and the tiramisu was the absolute highlight of our entire trip. It is a little on the pricey side, but it is completely worth it. I recommend this place a thousand times over. If you are in Rome, go. Price per person: €30–40

Planning our first trip to Italy in almost four years. One of our first stops will be to visit Antonio's wonderful establishment and check out the specials of the day. First visited Trattoria dell"Omo back in 1998 and have never been disappointed.
